KS1 - National Science Day

Date: 3rd Apr 2017

For National Science Day, children in key stage 1 made rockets out of card and stuck them to a straw. They investigated whether the position of the straw made the rocket go further. They also found out if the shape of the rocket affected the distance it travelled.

As part of our Science afternoon the children in key stage 1 made slime! First they mixed cornflower and water together. They then put their hands into the mixture and described what it felt like.

Take a look at some of the photos.
