We very much like to get the children of Hurst Hill Primary School involved with school life as much as possible and we value their views and input.
We have an active school council that has pupils from each class to represent their fellow pupil’s opinions and raise issues. They meet with a member of the teaching staff regularly and work on a variety of school issues that they feel are important.
We also benefit from having eco prefects. They work hard on tackling issues affecting our local and global environment. They have been instrumental in organising paper recycling here at Hurst Hill Primary School, and take responsibility for switching off lights when rooms are not in use.
