We are delighted to share the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection, which took place on 24th March 2026.

The inspection recognised many of the strengths of our school and reflects the dedication of our pupils, staff, governors, trustees and families who work together to make Hurst Hill Primary School a positive and inclusive place to learn.

The inspection found that safeguarding arrangements are effective and highlighted the school's calm and respectful environment, ambitious curriculum, strong focus on early reading and language development, and commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing.

Inspectors also recognised the positive relationships across the school community, the support provided for pupils with SEND, and the wide range of opportunities available to help pupils develop confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging.

While the report identifies achievement as an area that still requires further improvement, it acknowledges the actions leaders have already taken and the positive impact these are beginning to have.

We are proud of the progress recognised within the report and remain committed to ensuring every child achieves their very best.
